Meet the Team
Alister - Managing Director

Alister founded the company over 35 years ago as a mobile DJ. As he learned more about what created a great experience, he became passionate about producing great sound, so invested in audio solutions and evolved the business into SouthWest Audio. This enabled further expansion into power, lighting, video and staging solutions to form what is now SWG Events.

He now plays a large part in Production, Site Design and Event Management for a number of our clients.

Mark loves DIY, a tidy desk and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Kimberley - Head of Finance

Kimberley is the absolute queen of Excel. Since she joined the business, she has revolutionised the way in which we control all the financial aspects of the company.

We have all become much better at raising purchase orders with her around!

Coming from her motherland of Scotland, we have slowly overcome the mix of west country and Scottish accents in the office.

She loves travelling the world with her family and can be found diving in exotic waters.

Tom - Warehouse Manager

Following 6 years of working in the AV & Events industry in a number of capacities including project and technical management, Tom now heads up all things Warehouse at SWG.

We often say a show is all in the prep, and thats where Tom and his team come in. We can see as many as 6 Artic trucks being turned around in a 3 day period so Tom ensures maximum efficiency.

Another SWG musician with grade 8 in Sax and plays with a few Bristol based acts. Enjoys going out for nice meals with family or taking my time to cook something nice at home. When the weather is nice, he may be found outside with a pizza oven.

As a Production Engineer, she works in the warehouse team day to day as well as working on-site in several roles.

The most important members of the team are our highly skilled freelancers.
