We are a leading technical production services company who support a diverse range of events.

 

Our work is based on a desire to deliver truly entertaining experiences. Our expert team have access to audio, lighting, video, power and staging equipment and work with clients every step of the way to create exactly what they are looking for, and more. 

 

We cover indoor and outdoor events of all shapes and sizes, including festivals, concerts, corporate events, county shows, live auctions, fan-zones, celebrity weddings, private parties and more.

 

Our journey began in 1985 when Alister, our founder, took to the road as a mobile DJ - his goal to provide a truly entertaining experience for partygoers. This quickly expanded into a DJ booking service for venues and events across Bristol. As Alister learned more about what created a great experience, he became passionate about producing great sound, so reinvested profits in audio kit and evolved the business into SouthWest Audio. This enabled further expansion into power, lighting, video and staging solutions, as SouthWest Group.

 

Today, as SWG Events we have 12 full time employees and a team of over 100 trained technicians, managers and consultants working with a wide range of clients across the events industry. All technicians are hand-picked by our core team for their ‘can do’ attitude and work with us to take care of all aspects of our event productions.

 

Each project requires meticulous planning and we pride ourselves in providing the same level of care and attention to all our clients. Our expertise across our many disciplines, combined with our 30 years of experience gives us the advantage of blending multiple elements of production, seamlessly. This provides the elegant and efficient standard of event our clients have become accustomed to, catering for audiences ranging from 20 people to tens of thousands.

 

Over the years we have had the privilege of working with many respected names and artists. We have successfully delivered numerous large-scale projects and regularly work on some of the UK's leading festivals, including Glastonbury, Carfest, Oceanfest, and The Big Feastival.

 

In addition, our extensive work in the corporate sector includes clients such as Dyson, EE, Facebook, Virgin, Honda, Red Bull and The Music Managers Forum.

We stock and work with a large number of respected manufacturers including Martin Audio, Robe, Digico, SGM, Avid, Avolites, Yamaha, Black Magic Design, Infiled, Sennheiser, Sony, EAW and Chamsys to name a few.
